Collectible fridge magnet of a Great Blue Heron

The Great Blue Heron (Ardea herodias) is a wading shore bird in the family Ardeidae. This large bird is common over most of North and Central America as well as the West Indies and the Galápagos Islands. Great Blue Herons are found in a wide range of habitats. They live in fresh and saltwater marshes, flooded meadows, mangrove swamps, lake edges, or shorelines. Regardless, they always live near bodies of water and nest in the trees or bushes near the shore.
