Collectible fridge magnet of a Marine Iguana

The Marine Iguana (Amblyrhynchus cristatus) also called the Galapagos Marine Iguana, is a large lizard that is found only on the islands of the Galapagos. What makes it nearly unique among modern lizards is the ability to swim and forage for food in the ocean. These reptiles live on almost all of the islands in the archipelago. The Marine Iguana spends most of it's time on the rugged and rocky shoreline of the Galapagos Island, but it occasionally can be located in marshes of the interior and the mangrove beaches.
